The Hutchinson Photography Club is, very simply, a group of people interested in photography. We meet once a month to talk about photography, upcoming events, and get our hands on our cameras. We meet at 101 Main St. S just south of Library Square in Hutchinson. Watch our Facebook page for the most current information.
Throughout the year we do various activities such as hands-on workshops, fun field trips, and member and guest speakers.
The Hutchinson Photography Club is open to anybody 16 years or older who has an interest in taking photos. Bring your cell phone, point-and-shoot, or DSLR. Any level of knowledge and camera is welcome. Our goal is simply to take you to your next level.
When do you meet?
We meet 6:30-8:00 p.m. on the second Monday of the month.
What do you do at meetings?
We share photos, have a speaker or topic, or discuss upcoming events. We regularly share photos, sometimes offering critiques and sometimes friendly competition or discussion.
Do I need to bring anything for in-person meetings?
Just yourself and maybe your camera or cell phone if we are doing something hands-on at that meeting. Bring club topic ideas, photography questions, and a desire to share your passion with others.
I don’t have a good camera, can I still join?
Our club is open to all, from young to old, amateurs and semi-professionals to professionals. The only requirement is a love of photography!
I have more questions. Shoot us an email at [email protected] and an officer will connect with you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your interest in the Hutchinson area Photography Club!
